well, its been a while since i wrote. why? end of school stuff i guess. i've also been watching my neice and nephew since school ended. life in general has gottin in the way....lol

here is a bib i made for a friend... here is a cross. it was a special project.

this amulet was made as a specail project from one of my yahoo groups. its about 2 inches long and 2 wide.

look what i made :0) this is the first pattern i'm posting here.

this is my pattern. use for personal use only please.

Working Yarn Holder

Materials:

Small amount of worsted weight yarn
Size G hook
2 Liter bottle of soda, ice tea, whatever (empty and clean)
Hole punch

Worked in the round. Mark first stitch to beginning and end of rnds. (I use a safety pin)

Take the 2 liter bottle and cut the bottom off *(save for future project J )
With hole punch, punch holes evenly around the end you cut.

Rnd 1- Join yarn in any hole with a sc, sc around. *(add stitches, more then one per hole, if stitches seem too stretched out. I had too.)

Rnds 2-14 sc around.

Rnd 15- ch 3, dc in next 3 sc, * ch one, skip next sc, dc in next 4 sc, * Repeat around. *(having a group of 2, 4, or 5 for you last grouping is ok). End with a sl st in next sc, finish off, weave in ends.

Drawstring- ch 110, finish off. Weave in ends. Weave the ch between the dc groups on last rnd. Put in the yarn you’ll be working with, pull drawstrings and tie in a bow.

NOTE: can be made to use with thread if you cut more off the bottom of the bottle.

it's snowing! lol

i have so much to share tonight. i sure hope this cooperates, but so far, no go. uplaoding is taking forever. grrrrrrrrrrrrr! anyway, i did alot of crocheted gifts this yr. i also managed to make a few things i've been wanting to make for myself. i was in a few snowflakes and a bear exchanges also.

ok, here is a towel topper i made for..... me! lol

i also made a pretty tissue cover. AA free patterns had it again and i thought i'd jump on it this time. i also made ALOT of snowflakes. some for me, gifts and exchanges. i will post a few pics...lol depending on how long it takes. i made another bear, and doily as well. i also made anthony a stuffed critter...lol not sure if i should share him yet...lol. i was sworm to secrecy. i'm making a new bear from a bear-a-long. i'm kinda thinking of making 2 or 3more as well. i am in a bear swap, i have a head to another bear, and since we get one part a week for the CAL bear, i thought i'd make 2 ...soooooooo, WAIT! that makes 3 or 4 bears...YIKES!....lol. i dont know! waiting for second pic here... jeeze!

WOW! its been a while......

well, i think i've made a few things since i last posted...lol tons of snowflakes for one...lol and this christmas tree..cute isnt it? i will post as much as i can, but alot of things arent in pics yet, i also just finished a doily i'm proud of but i am starching it right now and will post soon. mmmmmmm... pics are taken forever t load. grrrrr

here is a critter i made out of yarn from my critter list. it was a CAL/Mal...lol i made him a friend, but it still has to be put together...lol i am so bad. i cant wait to start the next project, that i sometimes "forget" to get to the last. thats why i always have a few WIP, or UFP.

here i have a snowflake that came to be just under 12 inches ...lol itshuge. i have others, not that big i want to post yet, but we'll see. it's taken forever. last pic is of an angel snowflake. i have another angel flake, but sparkled it. i'll post it soon.

i think, this is going to be a long entry. because i see its been awhile since i last uploaded anything. i cant seem to upload anything in my groups. which is so odd. oh, btw, the groups. odd thing about that. i left one group (CG), another one was formed and another just up and closed. GT just vanished. i have a new wonderful list i'm on now, its very cool there. picks up where gt used to be. i frogged my ksp#2 project tho. i just couldnt do it. i dont know why. it's a beautiful doily. i just know when to call it quits. i frogged, redid, and frogged some more then just said " frog it" lol. so, i guess i'm out of that sp stuff. and just stick to the cal. its ok. i have to get a move on the snowflakes....lol and my critter group, which i am co-owner of, is doing great. anyway,

*update: i have completed that undoable doily.....lol i will post it soon.

there are a few things i want to post here. i've been making pipecleaner teddies also. ....lol. below is the very first one i made.

ooo my crochet group that meets at our puplic library has had the display windows for june and july. i took pics of both and will post them too. lol. the pic abouve is fron junes window below are julys pics

lets see, ooo yeah, i made this butterfly wall hanging thing, i stiffined it, but i think i'm going to make a sun catcher thing out of it and put it in the window. i'll post a pic of that as it is right now.

my tablecloth is done. i never in a million yrs thought i'd do it. but i did. it's really nice. i cant wait to use it. but i need to get new yardage of the vinyl from wal mart. i dont trust anyone. lol how can i? i have hrs and hrs invested in the tablecloth. i also dont trust the vinyl already on the table, it's been thereawhile....lol. hmm this up loading is taking forever. i hope i can post at least one pic. grrrrrrr. i also made another critter. but its a secret right now. as soon as i can post it i will. looks like i might get 2 pics up. but not sure yet. i've been checking the library ti see if they put up our projects we've made in the display window yet. but still nothing is there. we're getting the window for june and july this yr. june we are displaying bags/pocketbooks we've made. the beige white and black one is going to be in there, we'll see what we put in for next month.
